General Mills Inc. rose $.20 or .5 percent, to $39.78.

Hormel Foods Corp. rose $.61 or 2.1 percent, to $29.21.

Kellogg rose $.67 or 1.3 percent, to $52.49.

Mondelez International Inc. fell $.04 or .2 percent, to $26.49.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.28 or 1.4 percent, to $20.56.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $.43 or .5 percent, to $85.46.

Tyson Foods Inc. unchanged at $16.40.
