NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Advantage Oil & Gas Ltd. : Approximately 931,000 shares changed hands, a 361.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.28 or 7.1 percent to $3.67.

Bio-Rad Labs B : Approximately 1,300 shares changed hands, a 1,101.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $4.46 or 4.2 percent to $101.26.

Cascade Corp. : Approximately 1,941,900 shares changed hands, a 3,819.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $9.89 or 18.0 percent to $64.97.

Ellie Mae Inc. : Approximately 2,982,000 shares changed hands, a 351.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.40 or 5.6 percent to $23.50.

Meadowbrook Insurance Group : Approximately 983,900 shares changed hands, a 340.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.15 or 2.4 percent to $6.03.

Nielsen Holding NV : Approximately 5,993,100 shares changed hands, a 474.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.80 or 5.7 percent to $29.65.

Orient Express Hotels Ltd. : Approximately 3,500,600 shares changed hands, a 427.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.50 or 4.2 percent to $12.29.

Overseas Shipholding Group : Approximately 15,639,500 shares changed hands, a 1,452.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $2.02 or 62.2 percent to $1.23.

Supervalu Inc. : Approximately 57,019,500 shares changed hands, a 1,003.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.98 or 44.7 percent to $3.17.

VOC Energy Trust : Approximately 664,900 shares changed hands, a 743.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.05 or 6.5 percent to $15.08.
