Kellogg rose $.18 or .3 percent, to $51.88.

Mondelez International Inc. fell $.11 or .4 percent, to $27.11.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.08 or .4 percent, to $20.59.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $.18 or .2 percent, to $83.86.

Tyson Foods Inc. rose $.11 or .7 percent, to $16.24.
