NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top big-box retail companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Costco Wholesale Corp. rose $1.92 or 1.9 percent, to $101.56.

Target fell $.23 or .4 percent, to $62.66.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. rose $1.28 or 1.7 percent, to $75.42.
