NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies were mixed at the close of trading:

BP PLC fell $.14 or .3 percent, to $42.22.

Chevron rose $.69 or .6 percent, to $117.25.

ConocoPhillips rose $.23 or .4 percent, to $57.41.

Exxon Mobil Corp. rose $.35 or .4 percent, to $91.80.

Marathon Oil Corp. rose $.28 or .9 percent, to $29.85.
