Macy's Inc. fell $.26 or .7 percent, to $38.98.

Nordstrom fell $.01 or percent, to $57.55.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.17 or .6 percent, to $28.65.

Saks fell $.08 or .7 percent, to $11.55.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $.29 or .5 percent, to $62.00.

TJX Companies fell $.39 or .8 percent, to $46.07.
