BP PLC rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $43.80.

Chevron rose $1.51 or 1.3 percent, to $118.07.

ConocoPhillips rose $.91 or 1.6 percent, to $58.56.

Exxon Mobil Corp. rose $1.01 or 1.1 percent, to $92.24.

Marathon Oil Corp. rose $.90 or 3.0 percent, to $30.75.
