Office Depot, Safeway, Nokia are market movers


NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Office Depot Inc., up 31 cents at $1.92

The Boca Raton, Fla.-based office supply retailer backed its full-year guidance as the back-to-school shopping season winds down.

Cedar Fair LP, up 77 cents at $32.35

The amusement park owner backed its full-year revenue guidance as attendance and spending at the company's parks rose.

Teavana Holdings Inc., down 23 cents at $11.44

The tea company posted a second-quarter loss due to costs from a recent acquisition, but its adjusted results beat expectations.

Safeway Inc., up 68 cents at $16.50

The supermarket chain said that it plans to take its gift card business, Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc., public in early 2013.

Nokia Corp., down 45 cents at $2.38

The mobile phone maker unveiled its new Windows smartphones, but investors weren't impressed, and the company's shares fell.

Bon-Ton Stores Inc., up $2.37 at $12.07

A KeyBanc analyst raised his rating on the department store operator to "Buy," saying that management changes poised it for growth.

Francesca's Holdings Corp., down $6.15 at $29.92

The accessories and clothing store chain unexpectedly announced that its CEO and co-founder will retire at the end of this year.

G-III Apparel Group Ltd., up $3.29 at $36.17

The clothing company said that its fiscal second-quarter net income fell 13 percent, but its results beat Wall Street expectations.
