NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Amrep Corp. : Approximately 115,000 shares changed hands, a 2,906.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.27 or 5.1 percent to $5.00.

BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust : Approximately 2,157,000 shares changed hands, a 1,229.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $12.74 or 16.6 percent to $89.51.

Digital Domain Media Group : Approximately 1,720,500 shares changed hands, a 802.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.62 or 21.2 percent to $2.31.

Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings SA : Approximately 7,405,600 shares changed hands, a 3,422.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.54 or 21.8 percent to $8.60.

Greenway Medical Technologies Inc. : Approximately 436,400 shares changed hands, a 539.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.25 or 7.6 percent to $15.27.

Nortel Inversora SA : Approximately 28,800 shares changed hands, a 536.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.10 or .8 percent to $12.72.
