MoneyGram adds Bolivia's Banco Ganadero to network


DALLAS (AP) — MoneyGram International Inc. said Tuesday that it struck a deal with Bolivia's Banco Ganadero to add the retail bank to its network of money transfer services.

The two companies began services at all 30 of the bank's locations earlier this month.

MoneyGram said its services are now available at nearly 600 locations in Bolivia.

Its base of operations in the South American country is in Santa Cruz.

Moneygram shares rose 40 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $16.33 in afternoon trading.
