NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top biotechnology companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Amgen Inc. fell $.21 or .3 percent, to $83.66.

Biogen Idec rose $.23 or .2 percent, to $145.15.

Celgene Corp. fell $.13 or .2 percent, to $71.47.

Gilead Sciences Inc. fell $.43 or .8 percent, to $56.05.
