Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Travis Kalanick, chief executive officer of Uber Technologies Inc., and David Plouffe, a former top political adviser to President Barack Obama, talk about the company's decision to hire Plouffe as senior vice president of policy and strategy, Uber's competition with rival Lyft Inc. and its relationship with its drivers.
