Missouri Governor Nixon Declares Emergency in Ferguson Play

Aug. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson and other officials speak at a news conference in Ferguson about the latest measures taken to curb unrest in the St. Louis suburb where an unarmed black teenager was shot by police a week ago. The governor imposed a curfew and declared a state of emergency in Ferguson after tensions rose anew overnight with protesters storming the convenience store where the 18-year old victim had been before his death.
