July 31 (Bloomberg) -- Tulio Maciel, head of the economic research department at Banco Central do Brasil, discusses the central bank's report on the nation's budget balance for June. The nominal budget gap narrowed to 20.8 billion reais ($9.2 billion) from 32.4 billion reais a month earlier.
