July 16 (Bloomberg) -- Democratic U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania introduce the Hide No Harm Act of 2014.
The bill, crafted in response to the General Motors Co. faulty ignition switch problem, would make it a crime for a corporate officer to knowingly conceal the fact that a corporate action or product poses a danger of death or serious physical injury to consumers and workers. Robert Weissman of Public Citizen and Katherine McFate of the Center for Effective Government also participate.(Source: Bloomberg)
