June 16 (Bloomberg) -- Marshall Sonenshine, chairman of Sonenshine Partners, Christopher Davis, head of acquisitions at Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, and Bloomberg's Jeffrey McCracken discuss Siemens leading a joint bid with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi to carve up Alstom’s energy units in a challenge to GE’s $17 billion offer for the company and also comment on Medtronic's acquisition of Covidien Plc for $42.9 billion in cash and stock.
