Carney Says Ample Precedents for Bergdahl Release Play

June 2 (Bloomberg) -- White House Press Secretary Jay Carney speaks about the release of U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl. Bergdahl, captured in 2009 in Afghanistan, was delivered to U.S. forces in exchange for five detainees who'd been held at the U.S. military-detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Carney, speaking at the daily White House news conference, also discusses President Obama's plan to cut U.S. fossil-fuel emissions. (Source: Bloomberg)
