The New Players in the Next Space Race Play

April 30 (Bloomberg) -- 2011 was not just the end of the U.S. shuttle program, it was the end of an economy. Now, NASA is passing the torch to the private sector, hosting a competition to build a spacecraft to shuttle humans to the International Space Station. Boeing, SpaceX, and Sierra Nevada are all multi-billion dollar aerospace companies determined to win the NASA contract in order to become the leader in the emerging space industry. "The Next Space Race" debuts Wednesday May 7th at 9pm ET on Bloomberg Television.
