Senate Panel Meets on Fed Nominees, Fannie-Freddie Play

April 29 (Bloomberg) -- Members of the Senate Banking Committee approve the nominations of Stanley Fischer, Jerome Powell and Lael Brainard to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, paving the way for a confirmation vote by the full Senate. Members also agreed to delay a vote on a bipartisan bill to wind down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
