NYC Building Explosion Aftermath: On the Scene Play

March 12 (Bloomberg) -- New York City firefighters battled a five-alarm blaze after an explosion in East Harlem collapsed at least one building, killing two people. The blast came about 15 minutes after a neighbor reported a pervasive smell of gas. The explosion at 1644-66 Park Avenue near 116th Street, reported about 9:30 a.m. and heard miles away, killed two females, said Sophia Mason, a police spokeswoman. (Source: Bloomberg)
