Cranes Work to Right Cars of Derailed NYC Train Play

Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Federal authorities began righting toppled rail cars today as they started their investigation into what caused a New York City commuter train to derail yesterday, killing four people and injuring more than 60 others. The locomotive of the Metro-North train was hoisted back onto the track at 4:20 a.m., and two cranes were in the process of lifting the tilted car that was connected to the locomotive later in the day, according to railroad officials.
