Harrisburg Aims to Avoid Chicago Parking Regret Play

Oct. 15 (Bloomberg) -- William B. Lynch, state-appointed receiver for Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, talks with Bloomberg's Romy Varghese about the city's plan to lease its parking operations. The plan is part of a strategy to rid the insolvent city of $363 million in debt. Under Lynch’s court approved blueprint the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority would take over Harrisburg’s parking system under a 40-year lease. Bloomberg’s Kevin Thrash reports.
