Hello Kitty Makes a Billionaire of Shintaro Tsuji Play

Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Gillian Wee talks about the wealth of Shintaro Tsuji, the 85-year-old founder of Tokyo-based Sanrio Co. Sanrio is best known for the Hello Kitty character, which was introduced to the international retail market in 1974. Sanrio’s shares doubled this year, more than the 39 percent gain in Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average, making Tsuji a billionaire. (Source: Bloomberg)
