Aug. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Nate Lewis, scientific director for the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis at the California Institute of Technology, talks about efforts to distill hydrogen fuel using cheap solar-panel-like devices and eventually apply that research to a system that can blend the hydrogen fuel with carbon dioxide from the air to power cars, trucks, boats or aircraft.
