Yankees' Afterman on Going Against Type in Baseball Play

July 26 (Bloomberg) -- Jean Afterman, assistant general manager for the New York Yankees, talks with Bloomberg's Rob Gloster about being one of only three women to hold the position for a Major League Baseball team, late Yankees owner George Steinbrenner and her career as an actress. Aferman was a lawyer and player agent before joining the Yankees in 2001. They spoke before a game between the Yankees and Oakland Athletics at Oakland Coliseum on June 12. (Source: Bloomberg)
