Sensenbrenner on Need for Revised Voting Rights Law Play

July 17 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Representative James Sensenbrenner, a Republican from Wisconsin, talks with reporters about the need to strengthen the 1965 Voting Rights Act in time for the 2014 congressional elections. The U.S. Supreme Court on June 25 invalidated a portion of the law that determined which states need federal approval before changing election rules and ruled that Congress lacked grounds to require some states, and not others, to obtain federal approval.
