Billy the Kid Note Leads Harrisburg Auction Play

July 9 (Bloomberg) -- Harrisburg, Pennsylvania officials hope a letter written by American West outlaw Billy the Kid, if authentic, can help alleviate the sting of an incinerator project that has the city near bankruptcy. The letter and thousands of other artifacts that former mayor Stephen Reed amassed in a failed attempt to build a municipal Wild West museum, are being auctioned in a bid to raise cash for the city. Bloomberg's Maureen Damer reports. (Source: Bloomberg)
