Charlie Rose, June 21: Vishaan Chakrabarti discusses his new book, "A Country of Cities: A Manifesto for an Urban America." He is the director of the center for urban real estate at Columbia University and a partner at SHoP Architects. SHoP was the firm behind the construction of the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY. They have also proposed major redevelopment plans for New York's Penn Station. From 2002 to 2005, he worked at the New York Department of Planning, a role in which he oversaw the reconstruction of Lower Manhattan after 9/11 and the transformation of the High Line.
