PC Shipments Post Worst-Recorded Decline in 1Q Play

April 10 (Bloomberg) -- Personal-computer shipments plummeted 14 percent in the first quarter -- the worst such decline on record -- as buyers opted for smartphones and tablet computers and Microsoft’s newest operating system met with lackluster demand, researcher IDC said.
