Indonesia's Pangestu on WTO Candidacy, Trade Play

Jan. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Mari Pangestu, Indonesia’s tourism minister and the nation's candidate to succeed Pascal Lamy as head of the World Trade Organization, talks about her candidacy. Pangestu is one of nine candidates in the running for the WTO’s four-year director-general post. She was Indonesia's trade minister for seven years starting in October 2004. She also discusses the Southeast Asian nation's economy while speaking from Jakarta with Susan Li and Rishaad Salamat on Bloomberg Television's "Asia Edge." (Source: Bloomberg)
