Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Alan Krueger, chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, talks about the January jobs data released today and the implications for the economy. Payrolls rose 157,000 in January following a revised 196,000 advance in the prior month and a 247,000 surge in November, Labor Department figures showed in Washington.
