Jan. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Oklahoma Representative Tom Cole, a Republican, talks about the negotiations between U.S. lawmakers over the so-called fiscal cliff of $600 billion in automatic tax increases and spending cuts. House Republicans abandoned their effort to add spending cuts to the Senate’s budget legislation. Cole says he expects the House to pass the Senate bill unchanged.
