Dec. 19 (Bloomberg) -- In today's "Bloomberg Equities Report," Bloomberg's Betty Liu reports that GM shares are surging on a share buyback as the United States plans its exit from the company, FedEx saw second-quarter profit impacted by superstorm Sandy and General Mills beat profit and revenue expectations and raised its full-year forecast.
