U.S. Jobless Claims Increase; Wholesale Prices Rise Play

Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The number of Americans filing applications for unemployment benefits rose 15,000 in the week ended Sept. 8 to 382,000, Labor Department figures showed today in Washington. The producer price index climbed 1.7 percent in August after an increase of 0.3 percent in July, the Labor Department reported today in Washington.
