Sept. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Former U.S. Comptroller General David Walker, founder and chief executive officer of the Comeback America Initiative, speaks about his prescription for reduction of the U.S. debt burden and federal budget deficit, and the outlook for action by the government. Walker said he doubts the White House and Congress will agree by the end of this year to head off across-the-board spending cuts and tax increases set for January. He speaks in New York at an event co-hosted by the Economic Club of New York and Bloomberg News. (Source: Bloomberg)
