Toyota Likely to Regain Title of Top Automaker Play

Aug. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Michael Dunne, head of Dunne & Co., talks about the outlook for the global car market. General Motors Co.'s pace of growth isn’t fast enough to keep ahead of Toyota Motor Corp. globally. Toyota’s worldwide sales surged 34 percent in 2012’s first half while GM's profit slid 38 percent, putting the Japan-based company on pace to regain the title of world's top automaker. Dunne speaks from Jakarta with Rishaad Salamat on Bloomberg Television's "On the Move Asia." (Source: Bloomberg)
