Yahoo Says Google’s Marissa Mayer to Be CEO

July 16 (Bloomberg) -- Yahoo! Inc. said Marissa Mayer, a vice president at Google Inc., will become chief executive officer. As Yahoo’s fifth CEO in four years, Mayer will be tasked with helping the company regain the attention of Web surfers who want to socialize online and the advertisers eager to reach them.
