Brusuelas Cites Seasonal Issues for Fall in Claims

July 12 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg economist Joseph Brusuelas discusses initial jobless claims for the week ended July 7 and the import-price index for June. Applications for jobless benefits decreased by 26,000 to 350,000, the fewest since March 2008, Labor Department figures showed today. (Brusuelas is a Bloomberg economist.
