June 29 (Bloomberg) -- David Blanchflower, a former Bank of England policy maker and now a professor of economics at Dartmouth College and a Bloomberg Television contributing editor, talks about Europe's sovereign debt crisis and the European Union summit. EU leaders struggled to meet demands by Spain and Italy for relief from rising borrowing costs, threatening to derail a 120 billion-euro ($149 billion) pledge to boost economic growth. Blanchflower speaks with Susan Li on Bloomberg Television's "First Up." (Source: Bloomberg)
