China PMI Decline Pace `Surprising,' Chu Says

June 1 (Bloomberg) -- Victor Chu, chairman of First Eastern Investment Group in Hong Kong, talks about China's economy and manufacturing. The Purchasing Managers’ Index fell for the first time in six months, dropping to 50.4 from 53.3 in April, China’s statistics bureau and logistics federation said in a statement today in Beijing.
