May 2 (Bloomberg) -- New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Republican, speaks on April 26 at a town hall meeting in
Springfield, New Jersey, before a crowd of 400.
Public meetings, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook have all
given Christie an opportunity to connect with voters in a way
his predecessors could not. Polls show Christie has peeled away enough Democrats to win record-high approval from 59 percent of voters. Tanya Helfand, an attorney from Livingston, New Jersey, also speaks.
