GM Made Progress in Europe in 1st Quarter, CFO Says Play

May 3 (Bloomberg) -- Dan Ammann, chief financial officer of General Motors Co., talks about the automaker's first-quarter earnings reported today and performance in Europe. Excluding some items, profit slipped to 93 cents a share from 95 cents a year earlier and beat the 85 cent average estimate of 16 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
