May 3 (Bloomberg) -- Tim Loughran, a finance professor at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, talks about Carlyle Group LP’s initial public offering. Carlyle sold 30.5 million shares for $22 each to raise $671 million, according to a statement yesterday. Loughran speaks with Betty Liu on Bloomberg Television's "In the Loop."
