May 3 (Bloomberg) -- Peter Goodson, a fellow at the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and former partner at Clayton Dubilier & Rice LLC, talks about Carlyle Group LP’s initial public offering. Carlyle advanced as much as 2.1 percent in its first day of trading after raising less than sought and discounting the stock in its IPO.
