April 20 (Bloomberg) -- The number of bicycles that had become symbolic of Beijing traffic have dropped over the years as increasing wealth means sharing the pavement with more automobiles. China’s passenger-car sales rose 4.5 percent in March, beating analyst estimates, as dealerships increased discounts to attract buyers amid record fuel prices. Bloomberg's Stephen Engle reports from Beijing. (Source: Bloomberg)
