April 16 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Margaret Conley reports from Shanghai’s Jiading district on China's push for the development of new-energy vehicles. The nation's government will promote new-energy vehicles and encourage the scrapping of old vehicles to reduce pollution, according to a report released in March by the National Development and Reform Commission, the country’s top economic planner.
