Avon Calls on J&J's Sheri McCoy as New CEO

April 9 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Betty Liu reports that Avon Products Inc. named former Johnson & Johnson executive Sherilyn McCoy chief executive officer a week after the door-to-door cosmetics seller rejected a $10 billion takeover offer from Coty Inc. McCoy, 53, will join Avon April 23. She previously worked as vice chairman of J&J’s pharmaceutical and consumer division. She speaks on Bloomberg Television's "In The Loop."
