Supreme Court Hearing on Health Law (Day 3, Part 2) Play

March 28 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Supreme Court hears arguments about the constitutionality of President Barack Obama's health-care overhaul in the case of Florida v. Department of Health and Human Services. In today’s afternoon session, justices focused on whether the law, by expanding the Medicaid program, unconstitutionally coerces the states into spending more on health care for the poor. Paul Clement of Bancroft PLLC speaks in support for the 26 states challenging the law. U.S. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli represents the federal government.
