Consumer Confidence Lower, But Above Forecast Play

March 27 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Margaret Brenan reports that confidence among U.S. consumers in March held close to the highest level in a year, underpinned by an improving labor market. The index dropped to 70.2 from a revised 71.6 reading in February that was higher than initially reported. The median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News called for a decrease to 70. She speaks on Bloomberg Television's "InBusiness With Margaret Brennan."
