Gregoire Defends Afghan Shooter's U.S. Home Base

March 13 (Bloomberg) -- Washington state Governor Christine Gregoire speaks about the shooting deaths of 16 Afghan civilians, allegedly by a U.S. Army staff sergeant whose home station is Joint Base Fort Lewis-McChord in Washington. The soldier's wife and two children have been moved from off-base housing to inside the base for their safety, a defense official said. Gregoire speaks with reporters in Seattle. (Source: Bloomberg)
